Wonder Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 17 October 2026

Privacy should be understandable. This policy explains what Wonder stores, how information is used, and the rights and choices available to you.

1. Who we are and scope

Wonder is an artificial-intelligence chat product under the Infinity brand, operated by KOVO LIMITED, a company registered in New Zealand ("Infinity", "we", "our" or "us"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use Wonder.

You can try Wonder without an account. If you create or sign in to an account, Wonder synchronises supported chats, settings and related product state so they are available across your devices.

2. Information stored on your device

Wonder may use browser storage, including local storage and IndexedDB, to remember drafts, guest chats, settings, preferences and interface state. Account chats and supported settings may also be stored in our cloud infrastructure and synchronised across signed-in devices.

Anyone with access to that browser profile or device may be able to access locally stored information. You can remove it through Wonder controls where available or by clearing site data in your browser. Clearing data, reinstalling or changing devices may permanently delete it.

3. Information you provide

You may provide account details, prompts, messages, files, a display name, preferences, feedback or support communications. We receive information when a feature transmits it to us or when you intentionally contact us; information that remains in guest browser storage is not automatically available to Infinity.

4. Technical and usage information

When Wonder is delivered over the web, ordinary server and network operation may expose limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, errors and security events. We may use necessary technical logs to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.

We do not sell personal information or use Wonder to build third-party advertising profiles. If analytics practices materially change, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required.

5. AI requests and generated responses

If you activate an AI feature, prompts, attachments and relevant conversation context may need to be transmitted to the selected model provider or service endpoint to generate a response. Generated responses may also pass through that service.

Do not submit highly sensitive, confidential or regulated information unless the feature clearly explains how it is protected and you are authorised to provide it. Third-party model providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Connected services and links

If you choose to use an integration or follow an external link, information may be exchanged with that service as needed for your request. The third party controls its own service and privacy practices. Inactive or disconnected integrations do not transmit integration data.

7. Why information is used

Where Infinity processes information, we use it only where reasonably necessary to provide requested features, remember settings, deliver and secure Wonder, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot problems, respond to support, comply with law and improve the product.

We will not use personal information for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate reason and, where required, further notice or consent.

8. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help deliver infrastructure, security, support or AI functionality; with a connected service you choose; where required by valid law or legal process; to protect rights, security or people from serious harm; or as part of a corporate restructuring or sale subject to applicable law.

Service providers may process information only for the relevant service and are expected to protect it appropriately.

9. International processing

Wonder is operated from New Zealand, but service providers and model infrastructure may operate in other countries. Information sent to those services may therefore be processed outside New Zealand. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take applicable New Zealand privacy requirements into account.

10. Retention and deletion

Guest information stored locally remains until you delete it, clear site data or the browser removes it. Account information and cloud-synchronised content remain until you delete them or your account, subject to limited retention reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, backups and legal obligations.

Account controls let you manage your Wonder identity and data. You may also contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to Wonder. No browser, device, transmission or storage system is completely secure. Keep your device protected, avoid shared browser profiles for sensitive chats, and retain independent copies of important information.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information held by Infinity. Under New Zealand privacy law, you may request access to and correction of personal information we hold. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Local-only data is under your browser’s control and may not be accessible to Infinity. We cannot provide or recover information we never received.

13. Children and younger users

Wonder is not designed for use by children who cannot legally consent to these practices without a parent or guardian. Where consent or additional protections are required by law, a parent or guardian must provide the necessary permission. Do not use Wonder if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

14. Cookies and similar technologies

Wonder may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, operate the service, retain preferences and preserve guest chats. Where required, we provide notice or request consent for non-essential technologies. Blocking storage may prevent sign-in and local-saving features from working.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Wonder evolves. We will take reasonable steps to notify users of material changes, and the date above will identify the current version.

16. New Zealand Privacy Act

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy law, including the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles. Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand.

17. Contact us

For a privacy question, concern or request, contact Infinity at privacy@byinfinity.app or through usewonder.co. Include Wonder and enough information for us to understand the request and, where necessary, verify your identity.
